Our Story
The Birth of Caring Souls and Hearts LLC
Founded in 2023 by Tina and Donavan Shepard. Caring Souls and Hearts LLC began as a small endeavor focused on helping seniors with caregiving tasks. Tina, a compassionate and dedicated individual, started by providing part-time assistance to seniors in her community. This humble beginning quickly revealed her deep passion for helping those in need. The Shepard's discovered the true joy and fulfillment that comes from a life of service, where putting others first brings a profound sense of purpose and happiness.

The true drive behind Caring Souls and Hearts stems from a deeply personal journey. Tina and Donavan had the privilege of helping two veterans who, after facing significant challenges, became honorary family members. They lived with Tina for almost two years, during which she witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and unique needs veterans face in transitioning to civilian life.
These two veterans, through their courage and perseverance, inspired Tina to extend her support beyond just these individuals. She realized there are many more veterans who need a stable, caring environment to help them regain their independence and thrive. Tina's commitment to providing her "adopted" family members with a better quality of life led to the creation of Caring Souls and Hearts, with the mission of extending this care to as many veterans as possible.
